There's a big gap between having big list and having a list full of leads that trust you. Having a big list isn't the key to success; the real secret is to have a list of people who trust and take the time to actually read your emails and click your links. You have to keep in mind that quality overpowers everything in the internet VO Genesis marketing world. If you are known for having great material, people will always open your letters and read them despite the quality of you headline titles.


A great way to build trust with your list is to send them free gifts in exchange for their email address and name. What this does is increase the level of trust with you and your list. It makes them feel like you don't want to just profit off of them and you really want to help them. A free gift can be anything relatable to your niche market such as, an eBook, an eCourse, free samples/discounts etc. These kind of emails make sure that your next newsletter will get read.


Content, content, content! You have to be consistent when it comes to sending emails to your list. It is your job to make sure that every email sent has useful information in it. Give them information that they can apply to their internet business and never try to sell to them all the time. Remember if you have nothing useful to send, DON'T SEND ANYTHING.


Communicate with your list. You are going to get questions from your list and it's completely normal. The way that you respond is very important. Get in the habit of checking your email everyday and try to answer as many questions as you can. What I do is I answer and post some of my questions on my blog just in case some else is wondering the same thing. Communicating with your downline will let you know how good you're doing; it will also help you improve your business by being aware of what's working and what's not.

Never be afraid to send your list emails. This might seem silly but some internet marketers feel like if they send a lot of emails, the list will start getting annoyed. Personally, if you have useful information SEND IT! It's your job to make sure that your team is well taken care of. I send one email per day and if I stumble upon something new I will send it to my team so they're aware of it.
